State Aviation Education Councils In recent years, a number of State Aviation Education Councils and similar statewide groups have been established to promote a variety of aviation education activities and programs for primary and secondary students. To date, most of the State Councils are located in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast States. Pioneering state councils include the Minnesota and New Jersey Councils, which have stood as examples for all. The type of council-sponsored activities and programs include: ACE Camps, Aviation Education Expos and Fairs, and Teacher Training Workshops.
