for Women in Aviation Maintenance
(AWAM)
This organization's purpose is to
provide opportunities for women who
work in the aviation maintenance fields
to have a place to share information
and network, education, to foster
a sense of community and increase
in public awareness of women in the
industry.
The
Ninety-Nines The
Ninety-Nines. Our organization was
founded in 1929 by 99 licensed women
pilots for the mutual support and
advancement of aviation.

Whirly Girls Inc. This organization's
goals include the exchange of information,
promotion of interest among women
in helicopters, and advancement of
the acceptance of rotary wing aircraft
in the community.

in Aviation International (WAI) This organization
encourages women to seek opportunities
in aviation. This organization includes
members of all sorts such as astronauts,
corporate pilots, maintenance technicians,
air traffic controllers, business
owners, educators, journalists, flight
attendants, high school and university
students, and many others. It also
encourages women to consider having
a career in aviation.
